Never did we ever….

In the 18-months since our business, Hedfan, was founded, with a focus on driving organisational change, never did we ever think that we would have achieved so much. Now is a good time to reflect.

Hedfan is the Welsh word for the verb ‘to fly’ and we surely have flown – in more ways than one….

Successes

Never did we ever think that we would have:
1. Opened our office so early on

2. Launched and continue to deliver a bespoke engagement and collaboration programme working together with the University of Cambridge Estates Division’s Asset Management Team which has delivered positive results in

  • Ownership of fixing issues
  • Team morale and engagement
  • Managing stress
  • Having difficult conversations

3. Achieved accreditation of this programme from the Institute of Leadership

4. In the literal sense of our Welsh name ‘Hedfan’, we flew to the Middle East to work with a peace keeping organisation to:

Create team cohesion by skilfully encouraging the team to establish their own set of values and behavioural standards to which they will commit to and to which they will hold each other accountable

Develop the leadership skills of their mid-level and senior managers particularly in the field of accountability and emotional intelligence to influence leadership styles.

5. Launched our coaching programme that has helped clients take bold new steps in their career and develop levels of bravery to increase self-confidence in leadership

6. Facilitated five business strategy days to help leadership teams design future aspirations and set organisational direction.

We’re happy…

I am also so happy to say that we continue to work with some excellent clients, those who have been with us from the start and who mean the world to us; and, some new clients who we are very much looking forward to getting to know better.
